How to sync iOS devices with more than one Computer ? | iOS

There is a limitation built on iOS devices that they are unable to sync with more than one computer. iTunes will usually warn you that all the data will be wiped off if you connect your device with different device and sync. However there is an easy way to fix this problem.

  1. Connect your iOS device to your usual computer to which it is normally synced.
  2. Select the option 'Manually Manage Music and Videos' on the main page.
  3. Now copy the iTunes folder from the existing Computer onto a USB drive. On MAC OS X the folder is usually present in the Music folder. In Windows the folder is present in your    Username --> My Music --> iTunes.
  4. Copy this iTunes to the same location on the other Computer to which you intend to sync.
If there is an iTunes folder already exists on the other Computer, just replace the folder. This will copy the multimedia files, album art and playlists on the Computer. Now when you connect the device to the other Computer, the iTunes will work without any problem.

Follow the same method to as many Computers as you intend to sync.
